Embody Membership is now Pay What you Can!

I’m so proud to introduce Embody Pay What You Can Membership—a new way to support your cycle more deeply, and help us continue building a future for private, intentional menstrual care. Here at Embody we believe private, trustworthy cycle care should be available to everyone — no matter your circumstances. And in the spirit of community care and accessibility we've made the Embody Membership Pay What You Can with three membership options: $5, $10, or $15 a month.

Worried about the free version of the app changing? We’ve got you — what was free, will remain free — Check out the chart below for more info on the Membership features.

Our Membership unlocks some of the most-requested features: a curated Cycle Support Library, Encrypted Cloud Backup, Custom Symptom Tracking, and Dark Mode. These tools were made with the same values we’ve held since day one: respect for your body and your privacy — now with accessible pricing 💙

Before I get into explaining all the exciting features of Embody Membership, I want to make something crystal clear: At Embody, privacy isn’t a feature — it’s the foundation. We don’t track you, we don’t store your data, and we can’t share or sell it—because we don’t have access to it. Embody is local-first and encrypted on your device. This applies to both the free and paid versions of the app, always. Your body’s story stays yours — period.

Feature 1 : A library made for real cycles

Your body changes—and you deserve guidance that meets you in every phase. The Cycle Support Library offers articles, insights, and practices from trusted experts in mental health, nutrition, fitness, and more. But this isn’t just educational—it’s supportive. Whether you’re easing into your luteal phase or navigating day one with tenderness, the library provides grounded tools to help you feel more connected and resourced. It’s one of the features I’m most excited about, because it reflects our belief that self-understanding is a kind of self-liberation—and we all deserve access to care that honors the full arc of our cycles 💙

Feature 2: Encrypted Cloud Backup = peace of mind

With Encrypted Cloud Backup, you can trust that all the data you log in Embody is safe and retrievable — even if your device is lost or replaced. Your data is encrypted before it ever leaves your phone, and only you can unlock it with your passcode. It’s automatic, seamless, and built with one thing in mind: keeping your information private, secure, and always in your control. Please see our encryption FAQ section for a more detailed explanation of how encrypted cloud backup works.

Feature 3: Track what matters most to you

Your cycle is a full-body experience, and Custom Symptom Tracking lets you capture that. Add unique experiences like brain fog, heightened intuition, night sweats, or creativity surges—or anything else that feels meaningful to you. You can also turn off symptoms that don’t apply. Your tracker should reflect your reality, and now it can.

Feature 4: Dark Mode!

This one’s for everyone who tracks their cycle late at night or early in the morning (me included!). Dark Mode has been one of our most-requested features, and it’s here. We’ve put a lot of care into making it feel seamless and easy on the eyes, without compromising the visual clarity or simplicity Embody is known for. Whether you’re logging symptoms by moonlight or just prefer a darker interface, we’re so excited to offer this as part of our membership.

This membership is more than features—
it’s a shared vision

At Embody, our mission has always been to empower women and menstruators to embrace their cycles—privately, safely, and without compromise. We’re a small team, and we’ve built Embody from the ground up without ads, data tracking, or outside pressure to monetize your health. With your support through this paid membership, we can continue offering an intentional space for cycle tracking—while staying aligned with our values. Subscribing isn’t just unlocking features. It’s a way to support our mission and help shape the future of menstrual health. We’re so grateful you’re here.
